AlBaraa Haddad

A Syrian-Turkish Filmmaker documents his journey in trying to understand life and its contradictions anew after the earthquake that struck his second city, Hatay, in southern Turkey, where he lost his closest friends, part of his family, and the city he considered his home. This brought back memories of displacement from the war and ignited old and new fears from his childhood about the possibility of life, love, and survival.
