In 2020, her work is rewarded by the Académie des Beaux-Arts which awards her the Frédéric and Jean de Vernon prize. She is represented in Brussels by the gallery Spazio Nobile with a solo exhibition in 2020 “Cette lumière peut-elle” (“Can this light”). Her work is present in the contemporary print collections of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France and the Académie des beaux-arts.
Eva Garcia’s practice is mainly centered on engraving, of which she uses all the techniques, as well as sugar, burin, point, cradle, privileging progressively the direct size. She offers us visions that are both ethereal and tangible, impressions with an experimental character, beyond the usual codes of the medium.
