Gohar Martirosyan

Gohar Martirosyan is an Armenian director. In addition to presentations in conventional art spaces, she makes a point of bringing her artistic processes to places that have played a special role in history, such as the Aragats mountain in Armenia, or the island of 'Ouessant in France. Gohar Martirosyan studies the complex sets of influences that contribute to the construction of a person, whether they come from historical events, cultural practices, social bonds, ecological needs or relationships with the living.
