Jeanne Berbinau Aubry

Jeanne Berbinau Aubry develops an experimental work in sculpture and installation, in which the study of matter, the instability of its conditions and its potential distortions, occupies a fundamental place. She graduated in 2015 from the Villa Arson in Nice and was awarded the Bernar Venet Foundation’s Young Creation Prize the same year. After, she became a member at La Station, artist runspace based in the former slaughterhouses of the city of Nice, and took part in exhibition projects in France and abroad. Alongside, she takes part in several residency programmes, in the Himalayas in autumn 2015, at Villa Médicis in Rome in spring 2016, or in Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris in 2019. Since 2014, her work has been exhibited at the National Art Center of Villa Arson, Galerie Eva Vautier, and on the site of Chantier 109 in Nice, at Friche de la Belle de Mai and the Galerie Double V in Marseille, at Salon de Montrouge, Wonder Liebert, Galerie Bubenberg and Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, as well as in Braunschweig in Germany, New Delhi in India, and Ortisei in Italy.
