Katja Pilipenko

Katja Pilipenko is an artist from Moscow, currently based in Hamburg. She explores surrounding mediated truths, language and perception, as well as political and social mythologies and ideologies, drawing on the evolving experience of freedom of expression in Russia. She uses a variety of media, including photography, video, performance, painting and print techniques.
