Pooya Abbasian

Iranian artist Pooya Abbasian combines photography, video, drawing and installation in his artistic practice. He has worked with filmmakers for a long time, which has influenced his way of considering and questioning the construction, distribution and reception of images. He aspires to make these processes visible but also to construct his own visual fictions through the images he finds online on news sites and his own photos or recordings.
