A LITTLE BIT OF THE MOON - ANNE TERESA DE KEERSMAEKER AND RABIH MROUÉ
At the invitation of the Festival d'Automne, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and Rabih Mroué spent ten months sharing their thoughts, concerns, doubts and questions about politics, art and life. At the end of these many virtual encounters, the two artists come together on stage to redraw, for the duration of a performance, a new world together.
Between the fleeting shadows of the past and the oppressive uncertainties of the future, these two artists decide to plunge body and soul into the present. A little bit of the moon becomes the epitome of the variety of their talents: music, poetry, dance and theatre intertwine in a whirlwind of emotions, pushing back the boundaries of their respective disciplines to create something new. A bold attempt to find common ground in a fractured world, where communication and understanding seem to be increasingly rare commodities, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and Rabih Mroué seek, through their collaboration, to reaffirm the fundamental values of humanity: friendship and sharing.
