ART EMERGENCE

Art Emergence is a new event dedicated to emerging creation, initiated by Artagon, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, the City of Paris, the Île-de-France Region, and the Seine-Saint-Denis Departmental Council.

The inaugural edition will take place from September 18 to November 2, 2025.
The exhibition will be held at the Réserves of Frac Île-de-France and at La Chaufferie of the Fiminco Foundation.
It will be punctuated by a two-day festival at the Maison des Métallos, and by several studio visit tours in collective artist spaces across Paris and Seine-Saint-Denis.

Conceived as a true springboard for a new generation of artists and art professionals, Art Emergence aims to shine a light on recent graduates from art schools, as well as early-career artists and curators.
The event seeks to foster their professional integration and to build bridges between places of education, artistic production, and dissemination.
It also intends to offer the general public an opportunity to discover the vitality and diversity of the young contemporary art scene.

 

A Three-Part Event

1. Group exhibition featuring 42 artists, held at the Chaufferie of the Fiminco Foundation and the Réserves of Frac Île-de-France, in Romainville.
2. Multidisciplinary festival on October 25–26 at the Maison des Métallos, Paris (performances, talks, concerts, screenings).
3. Studio tours across three weekends, in around thirty artistic spaces between Paris and Seine-Saint-Denis.

The Exhibition at the Fiminco Foundation

Showcases the degree projects of 42 artists who graduated from French art schools (Class of 2024).
Curated by Salomé Fau, Alexis Hardy, and Temitayo Olalekan.
Designed as a true space for collective storytelling, the exhibition aims to bridge the gap between school and professional life.
