Célia Coëtte

Célia Coëtte is a multidisciplinary artist based in Paris. Her work focuses on exploring the connections between work, fatigue, dance, rehabilitation and care, with particular attention to the body's interaction with matter.

During her residency at the Fondation Fiminco, Célia Coëtte intends to create sculptures inspired by sports rehabilitation equipment, exploring the links between physical work, rehabilitation and reappropriation of the body, taking into account the context of Romainville as a territory under construction, with its workers and building sites. She also wants to create body envelopes to be perfomed by several people, highlighting the relationship with the other as a possible place for play and care.
