Maik Gräf

Maik Gräf is a visual artist based in Hamburg. Queer subjectivity, identity, loss, desire, subjectivity and melancholy are central to his work. His practice is based on photography as a sensitive medium, with a particular emphasis on analog photography. Over the years, he has expanded his field of exploration to include video media, installations as well as painting and drawing, the latter connecting with photography to create fragmented superimpositions.
