LUCARNE 2022 - 2023

L'identité écologique

The LUCARNE program is the result of a collaboration between the Fondation Fiminco and the Direction des Services Départementaux de l'Education Nationale de Seine-Saint-Denis (Seine-Saint-Denis Departmental Education Services) in order to offer artistic and cultural Education courses to schools that are far removed from cultural institutions .

The "Ecological Identity" project was carried out by artist-in-residence Marielle Chabal for a pair of classes: a CE2 class from the Jean Jaurès Elementary School and 4th grade students from the Henri Wallon secondary school in Aubervilliers. The students worked on the concepts of ecology and questioned themselves through various conversations and workshops. During the workshops, the students created logos referring to the covered themes which were then screen-printed on t-shirts.

The students then worked together to direct fictional short films around ecological issues: they wrote the scenarios, made the costumes and filmed themselves in action!
