L'Autre, cet extraordinaire 2022 - 2023

Laura Fedida - Servane Briot

As part of its inclusive arts and cultural education partnership with La Villette, for the second year running the Fondation is running the "The Other, the Extraordinary" program in collaboration with a school, a visual artist and a performing artist.

Artists Laura Fedida and Servane Briot teamed up with CM2 pupils and the ULIS class from Pierre Lerenard primary school in Noisy-le-Sec for several hours of workshops based on visual arts, sound and visual creations.

Working in groups, the pupils produced stop-motion videos on the theme "In my hand, there is...". Working with the artists, they first worked on the script, then created the sets, props and characters for the films. During a day at the Fondation, the students were able to film their short films in the residence's technical workshops. With Servane Briot, they also added sound effects to the images.

The films were screened at the school fair on Friday 30th June 2023 in the presence of their teachers, parents and teams from La Villette and the Fondation.
