The Fiminco Foundation is delighted to invite the public to a unique moment of discovery, which will mark the end of the residencies of nine artists hosted as part of the various TALENTS residency programs, which the Fiminco Foundation has co-constructed with numerous international partners.

Festival Kalypso

This year marks a turning point with the festival's arrival in Seine-Saint-Denis, in Romainville, in the heart of the Fast cultural district, at the Fiminco Foundation, opening up new artistic perspectives and new links between artists and local residents.

Come and meet Mourad Merzouki to discover or rediscover his career and the behind-the-scenes aspects of his creations. Alongside dancers who have been part of his repertoire, he will also talk about the evolution of hip-hop, which he knows well having contributed to its rise and influence in France.

This lecture will be followed by Ritam. Ritam is the result of a meeting between two artists: multi-instrumentalist Stracho Temelkovski and Kader Belmoktar, dancer and key assistant choreographer with Compagnie Käfig.

Committed to interweaving arts and aesthetics, they decided to create a common language with Ritam, a bridge between their two worlds.

Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin

Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin returns to Paris from November 18 to 24, 2024, with an all-new program featuring 142 works from 52 countries, in the presence of artists and filmmakers from all over the world.

From November 20 to 24 inclusive, the event joins forces with the Fondation Fiminco to present a video exhibition on the mezzanine of the Chaufferie, in dialogue with the current group show Les Ambassadeurs. Don't miss the event day on Sunday, November 24, with an exceptional VR program, video works presented outdoors, followed by the announcement of the Moving Image Art Prize 2024, and a drink to round off this week dedicated to the moving image.

As part of the Lithuanian Season in France, the Fondation Fiminco welcomes the Lithuanian National Museum of Art with a group exhibition of works from the collection and works by Lithuanian artists, revealing the contrasting reality of the contemporary Lithuanian art scene.
