LA FABRIQUE DES ARTS PROGRAM
LA FABRIQUE DES ARTS offers artists privileged conditions that foster their research and creative work by providing spaces, tools, and professional guidance. This creates a working environment conducive to exchanges between different art forms and the expansion of their practice. With a wide range of workspaces and state-of-the-art production workshops for construction, ceramics, 3D printing, engraving, screen printing, photography, video, graphic design, textiles, and weaving, the Fondation Fiminco residency is a true hub for contemporary creation. The Fondation Fiminco aims to support residents throughout their creative process, bolstering their professional and artistic development alongside a network of prestigious partners within the Parisian cultural landscape.
The Fondation Fiminco continues the evolution of its residency program—La Fabrique des Arts—into three bespoke programs:

La Fabrique des Arts Vivants
La Fabrique des Métiers d’Art
For its new residency season, the Fondation Fiminco continues its commitment to openness across all artistic disciplines. By developing three distinct programs within its flagship residency LA FABRIQUE DES ARTS, the Foundation renews its dedication to contemporary creation by offering dedicated support in partnership with industry professionals.
La Fabrique des Arts Vivants
In partnership with ADAMI
- Target Audience: Performing artists.
- Residency Duration: 2 months.
- Applications: Individual or collective (up to 3 people per project).
- Eligibility: Open to any French performing artist supported by a private-law structure established in France, who has already completed at least one professional project presented in a recognized venue (theater, festival, performance space).
La Fabrique des Arts Visuels
- Target Audience: Visual artists.
- Residency Duration: 10 months.
- Applications: Individual only.
- Eligibility: Open to French and international visual artists with no age limit.
La Fabrique des Métiers d'Art
- Target Audience: Artisans and designers.
- Residency Duration: 5 months.
- Applications: Individual only.
- Eligibility: Open to French and international artisans with no age limit.

YOUR QUESTIONS ABOUT THE LA FABRIQUE DES ARTS PROGRAM
DO I HAVE TO LIVE ON SITE?
→ Residencies at the Fiminco Foundation require artists to be present on a continuous, daily basis and to live on site for the entire duration of the residency.
ARE FAMILIES ALLOWED?
→The accommodation provided to the artist during the residency is strictly for individual use. Any potential guests (friends, family, or others) may be accommodated subject to sufficient advance notice and room availability, and at an additional cost.
CAN I HOST GUESTS? FOR HOW LONG AND UNDER WHAT CONDITIONS?
→ The rooms are designed for individual occupancy. Guests may be accommodated for a limited period, arranged in advance with the Foundation’s team, subject to availability and the residency schedule, and will require the rental of an additional room.
CAN I BRING MY PET?
→ No, unfortunately pets are not allowed in the Fiminco Foundation’s facilities.
WHICH DISCIPLINE SHOULD I SELECT ON THE FORM IF I AM A MULTIDISCIPLINARY ARTIST?
→ You will need to indicate a primary practice in order to determine which spaces and technical resources will be required for your accommodation.
CAN I APPLY IF I AM A MINOR ?
→ No, calls for applications are exclusively intended for artists who are of legal age.
I CAN'T UPLOAD MY DOCUMENTS TO THE GOOGLE FORM.
→ To avoid this issue, we encourage you to check the size and format of the documents you are uploading to the Google Form.
I HAVEN'T RECEIVED A CONFIRMATION EMAIL AFTER FILLING OUT THE FORM?
→ A confirmation email is automatically sent after you submit the application form. We recommend checking your spam folder.
WHEN WILL THE RESULTS BE ANNOUNCED?
→ The pre-selection will be carried out by the end of June, and you will receive an email at that time. The final results will then be announced following the jury’s decision, by the end of July.
WHO CAN APPLY?
→ The call for applications is open to french performing artists supported by a private legal entity established in France, who have already carried out at least one professional project presented in a recognized setting (theatre, festival, or performance venue).
WHAT ARE THE SELECTION CRITERIA?
- Be a performing artist supported by a private legal entity established in France;
- Apply individually or collectively (up to a maximum of 3 people per project);
- Hold a valid live performance entrepreneur license;
- Comply with the conditions and procedures of the application process;
- Propose a project involving at least one performing artist on stage;
- Interdisciplinary approaches within the performing arts—such as theatre, dance, cinema, puppetry, circus, etc.—are encouraged (the inclusion of visual/fine arts is welcome);
- Commit to being present during the residency;
- Adhere to the values charters of Adami and the Fondation Fiminco
CAN WE APPLY AS A DUO?
→ The application may be submitted by a group of up to three people per project. One person must be designated as the project lead for the application. A maximum of three artists per project may be accommodated on site during the residency.
WHAT IS THE AMOUNT OF THE PRODUCTION GRANT / DOES THE RESIDENT RECEIVE A STIPEND?
→ The production grant amounts to €850. It is awarded to each artist in residence as part of the Fabrique des Arts Vivants x Adami program.
IN CASE OF A COLLECTIVE APPLICATION? IS THE GRANT PER PROJECT OR INDIVIDUALLY TO EACH ARTIST ?
→ The production grant is individual and will be paid to each artist in the case of a collective project.
IS THERE A FINAL PRESENTATION AT THE END OF THE RESIDENCY?
→ A residency showing or open rehearsal may be organized by the foundation team, depending on space availability, the internal ressources and the site’s public opening schedule.
WHICH DISCIPLINE SHOULD I SELECT ON THE FORM IF I AM A MULTIDISCIPLINARY ARTIST?
→ You will need to indicate a primary practice in order to determine which spaces and technical resources will be required for your accommodation.
